Bulgaria's main airports are Sofia, Varna, Bourgas and Plovdiv. All the mentioned airports are classified and registered as International airports, but you probably didn't know that another airport is also licensed for international traffic, and moreover is physically capable of handling large passenger aircraft.

Gorna Oryahovitsa, approx 12 Kilometers / 7 Miles from Veliko Turnovo, is ripe right now for expansion and modernising into a new international air terminal for Bulgaria.
